Millard Berry, 47 years old, died suddenly Tuesday evening following a heart attack at his home near Yatesville, KY. son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Berry, he was a veteran of World War I. Funeral services were conducted Thursday from the home of Elbert Austin at Yatesville and burial was made in the family cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Lester and Willard Berry, both at home; one half sister, Mrs. Torie Spillman of route 3, Louisa. Big Sandy News, May 2, 1947

Willard Monroe Berry, 36, of 314 Thirteenth Street, Kenova, WV, died Saturday in a Huntington hospital. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, with the Rev. Felix Skaggs officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery near Louisa. He was born May 3, 1928, at Yatesville, KY, a son of the late Millard and Elizabeth Bays Berry. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Josephine Eblin Berry and a brother, Lester Berry of Milam, MI.
