Mildred Irene Hayes (Moore) Mrs. Mildred Irene Hayes, 55, route 3, Louisa, died at 2 a.m. Saturday at her residence following a sudden illness. Mrs. Hayes was born August 26, 1917 at Route 3, Louisa, a daughter of Mrs. Octavia Moore of Route 3, Louisa and the late Jay Moore. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Woodrow Hayes; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Cantrell and Mrs. Bernard Markham, both of Route 3 Louisa; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Sayres of Florida; a brother, Kermit Moore of Route 3, Louisa; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p, m. Monday at the Mattie Methodist Church by the Rev. Gallie Isaac. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at Route 3, Louisa. Jay Moore, 67, of Adams, KY died at 6:45 a.m. December 7 at his home after an illness of six weeks. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Mattie Methodist Church near Adams by the Rev. Dave Hewlett and the Rev. R. B. Moore. Burial was in the Jay Moore Cemetery at Adams. Mr. Moore was born January 3, 1884, at Adams, a son of the late Thornton and Elizabeth Moore. He was a farmer and merchant. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Octavia Stambaugh Moore; two daughters, Miss Della Moore of Columbus and Mrs. Woodrow Hayes of Adams, one son, Kermit Moore of Adams; a sister, Mrs. Fred Short of Adams, two brothers, Dillon and Bert T.
