Mrs. Georgia Ann O'Bryan, 77 years old of Wilbur, KY, died Saturday in a Louisa hospital after an extended illness. Born at Blaine, May 25, 1884, she was the daughter of the late John and Emeline Williams. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walker Thompson of Wilbur, a sister, Mrs. David Moore of Louisa; two half brothers, Harry O'Bryan of Louisa and John O'Bryan of Wilbur; 12 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday from the Curtright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Bottrell officiating. Burial was in the O'Bryan Cemetery. Big Sandy News, May 10, 1962

J. M. O'Bryan, 82, of Louisa, died at 1:50 a.m. Thursday, May 5 in a Louisa hospital after an illness of 9 years. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Curtright Funeral Home with the Rev. W. W. Moore and Dean Bottrell officiating. Burial was made in O'Bryan Cemetery at Wilbur, KY. Mr. O'Bryan formerly lived at Wilbur and was postmaster there for 15 years. He was born December 16, 1877 at Blaine, KY, a son of the late James G. and Nancy Short O'Bryan and was a member of the Blaine Christian Church. Mr. O'Bryan was married 60 years ago to the former Miss Georgia Ann Williams, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walker Thompson of Wilbur and 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, 7 nieces and nine nephews. Big Sandy News, May 12, 1960

J. L. (Lafe) O'Bryan, 95 years old, formerly of Wilbur, KY, died Monday morning at the home of his brother, J.M. O'Bryan, 419 Lackey Avenue, after an illness of ten years. He had been a resident of Louisa for the past eight years. Mr. O'Bryan was born at Blaine, KY, February 7, 1865, son of the late James G. and Nancy Short O'Bryan. He was a farmer and single. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Curtright Funeral Home by the Rev. O'Ray Weeks. Burial will be in the O'Bryan Cemetery at Wilbur, KY. Survivors include a brother, J. M. O'Bryan of Louisa, and seven nephews and nine nieces, including Mrs. Walker Thompson, postmaster at Wilbur. The body is at the funeral home. Big Sandy News, March 10, 1960
